Delicious meatballs filled with marrow, served in a rich butter sauce.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup beef marrow
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form mixture into meatballs, making an indentation in the center of each to fill with marrow.
- Fill each meatball with a small amount of beef marrow.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add beef broth and simmer.
- Once meatballs are cooked, transfer them to the butter sauce and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot, drizzled with the butter sauce.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Serve with pasta or over rice for a complete meal.
- These meatballs can be frozen for later use.
