Description
Marrow Caldo is a hearty soup made with nourishing beef marrow bones, perfect for warming up on a cold day.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef marrow bones
- 6 cups water
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the beef marrow bones and water. Bring to a boil.
- Add the onion, carrots, celery, garlic, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
- Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 2 hours.
- Remove the bones, and strain the soup.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- Marrow Caldo can be served with bread for a complete meal.
- Make sure to scrape the marrow from the bones for added flavor.
