Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 kg goat meat, cut into pieces
  • 750 ml red wine
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • Salt to taste
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

  1. In a large bowl, marinate the goat meat with red wine, garlic, onions, bay leaves, black pepper, paprika, and salt for at least 12 hours.
  2. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).
  3. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the marinated goat meat on all sides.
  4. Add any remaining marinade and carrot slices to the pot.
  5. Cover the pot with a lid and transfer it to the preheated oven.
  6. Cook for about 2-3 hours or until the meat is tender.
  7. Serve hot.
