Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon fillet
  • 1/4 cup coarse sea salt
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon dill, chopped
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • 1 lemon, sliced


Instructions

  1. Combine salt, sugar, peppercorns, dill, and lemon zest in a bowl.
  2. Rub the mixture over the salmon fillet.
  3. Place lemon slices on top and wrap tightly in plastic wrap.
  4. Refrigerate for 48 hours, flipping the salmon halfway through.
  5. Once cured, slice thinly and serve.
