Instructions
- In a large pot, melt the lard over medium heat.
- Add the onions, carrots, and garlic; cook until softened.
- Stir in the beets, potatoes, and cabbage.
- Add the beef broth and vinegar; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
