Description

A delicious and hearty dish featuring bell peppers stuffed with a savory lamb filling.


Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup tomato sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened.
  4. Add ground lamb and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in cooked rice, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  6. Stuff the mixture into the bell peppers.
  7. Place stuffed peppers in a baking dish and pour tomato sauce over them.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until peppers are tender.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables to the stuffing mixture.
  • For a spicier dish, include chili flakes.
