- 1 cup tallow
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the lamb riblets.
- In a large baking dish, arrange the riblets and pour the tallow over them, ensuring they are well-coated.
- Cover the dish tightly with foil and place it in the oven.
- Bake for 4 hours, then remove the foil and bake for an additional hour to crisp up the riblets.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
