Description

A classic dish made with tender lamb kidneys, seasoned and deviled for a rich flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 lamb kidneys
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 egg, hard-boiled
  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Clean the lamb kidneys and remove any fat or membranes.
  2. Slice the kidneys and sauté them in butter with chopped onion and garlic until cooked through.
  3. Add mustard, mashed hard-boiled egg, and breadcrumbs to the mixture.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and mix well.
  5. Stuff the mixture back into the kidneys and bake in the oven until golden.
