Description
Lahmacun is a traditional Turkish pizza topped with minced meat, vegetables, and spices.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground lamb or beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 bunch parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 4 pita breads or flatbreads
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground meat over medium heat until browned; drain the fat.
- Add onion, garlic, bell pepper, and cook until soft.
- Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, paprika, cumin, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for about 10 minutes, then mix in parsley.
- Spread the meat mixture evenly over the flatbreads.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.

- Feel free to adjust the spices according to your taste.
- Serve with a side of fresh salad for a complete meal.
