Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 3 green onions, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and ensure they are well coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, marinate the chicken overnight.
  • This recipe can also be made in a slow cooker for a tender result.
