Delicious Korean bulgogi beef wrapped in fresh lettuce leaves, perfect for a quick and healthy meal.
Ingredients

- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 head of butter lettuce or romaine
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, and black pepper.
- Add the sliced beef to the marinade and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated beef for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- To serve, place a few pieces of bulgogi beef in a lettuce leaf and top with julienned carrots, cucumber slices, and chopped green onions.
- Wrap the lettuce around the filling and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, add Sriracha or gochujang to the wraps.
- These can be served with rice on the side if desired.
