These Keto Mozzarella Sticks with Almond-Free Coating are a delicious low-carb snack that satisfies your cheesy cravings without the carbs!


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 1 cup crushed pork rinds
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, mix crushed pork rinds, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. In another bowl, beat the egg.
  5. Dip each mozzarella stick in the egg, then roll in the pork rind mixture until fully coated.
  6. Place the coated sticks on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
