Description

Delicious and juicy Greek chicken burgers topped with refreshing tzatziki sauce, perfect for a summer meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, feta, egg, garlic, oregano, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into burger patties.
  3. Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  5. While the burgers are cooking, mix together Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, and dill to make the tzatziki sauce.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun and topping with tzatziki sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, let the chicken mixture rest for 30 minutes before grilling.
  • These burgers can also be made on a grill for a smoky flavor.
