Ingredients

- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, feta, egg, garlic, oregano, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into burger patties.
- Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- While the burgers are cooking, mix together Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, and dill to make the tzatziki sauce.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun and topping with tzatziki sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, let the chicken mixture rest for 30 minutes before grilling.
- These burgers can also be made on a grill for a smoky flavor.
- Serve with pita bread for a different twist.
