Description

These juicy Greek chicken burgers are packed with flavor and served with a refreshing tzatziki sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cucumber, grated
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 4 burger buns
  • Leafy greens for serving


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, cayenne, and feta cheese. Mix until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing the grated cucumber, yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, and dill in a bowl. Season with salt to taste.
  5. Once burgers are cooked, serve them on buns topped with leafy greens and tzatziki sauce.
