Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork belly
  • 2 tablespoons jerk seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 lime juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix jerk seasoning, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, vegetable oil, vinegar, and lime juice.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the pork belly and let it marinate for at least 2 hours.
  4. Place the pork belly on a baking sheet and cover it with foil.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours.
  6. Remove the foil and broil for an additional 10-15 minutes to get a crispy skin.
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
