Deliciously seasoned crab cakes made with fresh crab meat and a perfect blend of herbs and spices.

- 1 pound fresh crab meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, parsley, salt, pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into patties.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown.
- Remove from heat and serve with lemon wedges and tartar sauce.
Notes
- Chilling the crab mixture for 30 minutes before cooking can help the patties hold their shape better.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
