- 1 pound pork sausages
- 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped chives
- 1 cup beef or chicken stock
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Place the sausages on a baking sheet and cook for 25 minutes until browned.
- Meanwhile, peel and quarter the potatoes, then boil until tender.
- Drain the potatoes and mash them with milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
- Add chives to the mashed potatoes.
- In a saucepan, heat the stock and serve with sausages and mashed potatoes.
