Description

Delicious and hearty Bangers and Mash recipe by Ina Garten, featuring flavorful sausages and creamy mashed potatoes.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork sausages
  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped chives
  • 1 cup beef or chicken stock


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Place the sausages on a baking sheet and cook for 25 minutes until browned.
  3. Meanwhile, peel and quarter the potatoes, then boil until tender.
  4. Drain the potatoes and mash them with milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
