- 1 pound chicken gizzards
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the gizzards under cold water and trim any excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, vegetable oil, ground ginger, and black pepper.
- Add the gizzards to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange the marinated gizzards on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, basting with the marinade halfway through, until the gizzards are cooked through and caramelized.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving, if desired.
