- 1 pound chicken gizzards
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
Instructions
- Clean the gizzards thoroughly and remove any excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and sesame oil.
- Add the gizzards to the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the marinated gizzards and cook until they are golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
- Pour any remaining marinade into the skillet and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For best results, marinate the gizzards overnight.
- Adjust the sweetness of the glaze by adding more or less honey according to your taste.
