Description

A delicious and savory dish featuring gizzards coated in a sweet honey-garlic glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken gizzards
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)


Instructions

  1. Clean the gizzards thoroughly and remove any excess fat.
  2. In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and sesame oil.
  3. Add the gizzards to the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the marinated gizzards and cook until they are golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
  6. Pour any remaining marinade into the skillet and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For best results, marinate the gizzards overnight.
