Description

This dish features tender gizzards glazed with a sweet and savory honey-garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken gizzards
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil


Instructions

  1. Rinse gizzards and remove any fat or membranes.
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, ginger, and pepper to create the glaze.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add gizzards and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Pour the honey-garlic mixture over the gizzards.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally until gizzards are cooked through and glazed.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
