Description

A deliciously sticky and flavorful way to enjoy chicken gizzards, coated in a sweet honey-garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken gizzards
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil


Instructions

  1. Clean the gizzards thoroughly and remove any fat or membrane.
  2. In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, rice vinegar, ground ginger, and black pepper to make the marinade.
  3. Add the gizzards to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Drain the gizzards and add them to the pan, cooking until browned and cooked through.
  6. Pour the remaining marinade into the pan and simmer until thickened.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
