- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Instructions
- Clean the gizzards thoroughly and remove any fat or membrane.
- In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, rice vinegar, ground ginger, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Add the gizzards to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Drain the gizzards and add them to the pan, cooking until browned and cooked through.
- Pour the remaining marinade into the pan and simmer until thickened.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
- Marinating the gizzards overnight enhances the flavor.
- For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the marinade.
