Description

Delicious and hearty homemade Italian meatballs, perfect for serving with pasta or in a sub sandwich.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil.
  3. Mix until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  4. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  7. Serve with your favorite marinara sauce and pasta.

Notes

  • For a sweeter flavor, add a pinch of sugar to the meat mixture.
  • Meatballs can be made ahead and frozen for future meals.
