Ingredients

- 2 pounds octopus
- 1/2 cup chorizo, diced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions
- Grill the octopus over high heat until charred and cooked through.
- In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté the chorizo until crispy.
- In a separate pan, melt butter and mix in smoked paprika and red pepper flakes.
- Combine the chorizo oil with the spicy brown butter.
- Toss the grilled octopus in the spicy mixture and serve hot.
- Garnish with lemon juice and additional spices if desired.
Notes
- Soaking the octopus in water for a few hours before cooking can help tenderize it.
- Serve with a fresh salad or crusty bread.
