Ingredients

- 2 pounds octopus, cleaned
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 lemon for serving
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil.
- Add octopus and cook for 30-40 minutes until tender.
- Drain the octopus and let it cool.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the mixture over the octopus tentacles.
- Heat a grill to medium-high.
- Grill the octopus for about 2-3 minutes per side until charred.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and add minced garlic.
- Remove from heat, and drizzle garlic butter over the grilled octopus.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
- For best results, marinate the octopus in the smoky oil mixture for a few hours before grilling.
- Be careful not to overcook the octopus to keep it tender.
