Description

Deliciously grilled octopus tentacles served with a rich and smoky butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound octopus tentacles
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Prepare the octopus by cleaning and tenderizing it.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  3. Add the smoked paprika, lemon juice, garlic, sea salt, and black pepper to the butter and mix well.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Brush the octopus tentacles with the smoky butter mixture.
  6. Grill the octopus for about 3-4 minutes on each side until charred and cooked through.
  7. Remove from the grill and drizzle with any remaining smoky butter.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the octopus in the smoky butter for a few hours before grilling.
