Description

Delicious grilled lamb kabobs marinated in a spicy harissa blend.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds lamb shoulder, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup harissa paste
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine harissa paste, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add lamb pieces and mix until fully coated.
  3. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  4. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread lamb onto skewers.
  6. Grill skewers for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked to desired doneness.
  7. Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Serve with your choice of sides or dips.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the lamb overnight.
  • Serve with tzatziki sauce for a refreshing complement.
