Description

Delicious grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon and stuffed with jalapenos, perfect for a party appetizer or main dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 6 jalapenos, halved and seeded
  • 12 slices bacon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with garlic powder, smoked paprika, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stuff each jalapeno half with a shrimp and wrap it with a slice of bacon.
  4. Secure with a toothpick if necessary.
  5. Place the jalapeno-wrapped shrimp on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the bacon is crispy and the shrimp are cooked through.
  6. Remove from the grill and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapenos.
  • These can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before grilling.
