- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 6 jalapenos, halved and seeded
- 12 slices bacon
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with garlic powder, smoked paprika, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each jalapeno half with a shrimp and wrap it with a slice of bacon.
- Secure with a toothpick if necessary.
- Place the jalapeno-wrapped shrimp on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the bacon is crispy and the shrimp are cooked through.
- Remove from the grill and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapenos.
- These can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before grilling.
