Description

Deliciously seasoned beef skewers grilled to perfection and generously basted with rich bone marrow fat for a unique flavor experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into cubes
  • 4 tablespoons bone marrow, melted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 onion, cut into chunks
  • 8 wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine melted bone marrow, olive oil, garlic, black pepper, salt, smoked paprika, and cumin. Mix well.
  2. Add beef cubes, bell pepper, and onion to the marinade. Toss to coat evenly and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated beef and vegetables onto the soaked skewers.
  5. Grill skewers for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef reaches desired doneness.
  6. Baste the skewers with remaining melted bone marrow while grilling for added flavor.
  7. Remove skewers from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding herbs like rosemary or thyme to the marinade.
  • Ensure that the wood skewers are soaked to prevent burning on the grill.
  • Serve with a side of your choice, such as rice or a fresh salad.
