Description

Delightful appetizers featuring rich and creamy yolks, perfect for festive occasions.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped
  • 1/4 cup smoked paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot, covering with water, and bringing to a boil. Simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  2. Remove eggs from heat, cool in ice water, and peel.
  3. Cut eggs in half lengthwise and scoop the yolks into a bowl.
  4. Add mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, and seasonings to the yolks, mixing until smooth.
  5. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  6. Sprinkle with smoked paprika and garnish with chives before serving.

Notes

  • For an additional crunch, consider adding finely diced celery or pickles to the yolk mixture.
  • These appetizers can be made a few hours in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
