Description

This fully loaded smoked queso is a creamy and cheesy dip made with a variety of ingredients that adds a smoky flavor to every bite.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup diced jalapeños
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder


Instructions

  1. Prepare your smoker to 225°F.
  2. In a cast-iron skillet, mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese.
  3. Add salsa, jalapeños, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder to the skillet and stir to combine.
  4. Place the skillet in the smoker and allow it to smoke for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Once melted and bubbly, remove from the smoker and serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less jalapeños.
