Description

A delicious and easy recipe for fried rice featuring ground beef, perfect for a quick weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic


Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Add garlic and vegetables; sauté for about 3 minutes.
  4. Push the mixture to one side of the skillet and scramble the eggs on the other side.
  5. Once eggs are cooked, mix everything together.
  6. Add cooked rice and soy sauce; stir well to combine.
  7. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add sesame oil.
