Description

A delightful combination of filet mignon and poached lobster claw, enhanced with rich ghee.


Ingredients

  • 2 filet mignon steaks
  • 2 lobster claws
  • 4 tablespoons ghee
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • 1 lemon (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Season the filet mignon with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the filet mignon and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  4. Meanwhile, bring a pot of water to a gentle simmer and poach the lobster claws for 6-8 minutes.
  5. Remove lobster claws and set aside.
  6. Plate the filet mignon and top with poached lobster claws.
  7. Drizzle remaining ghee over the top and garnish with fresh thyme and lemon.

  • For an added flavor, marinate the filet mignon in ghee and herbs overnight.
