Description

Delight in these crispy, golden-brown halloumi wedges that are perfect for festive gatherings or as a flavorful appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 250g halloumi cheese
  • 100g plain flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 100g breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Slice the halloumi cheese into wedges.
  2. Prepare three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with paprika and oregano.
  3. Coat each wedge in flour, dip in eggs, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the halloumi wedges for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
