Description

Delicious salmon wrapped in flaky pastry, perfect for a dinner party or special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon fillet
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Lay the salmon fillet on the puff pastry and spread the cream cheese mixture on top.
  4. Fold the pastry over the salmon and seal the edges.
  5. Brush the top with beaten egg and make a few slits for steam to escape.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
