- 1 pound salmon fillet
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Lay the salmon fillet on the puff pastry and spread the cream cheese mixture on top.
- Fold the pastry over the salmon and seal the edges.
- Brush the top with beaten egg and make a few slits for steam to escape.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.

- Serve with a fresh salad or roasted vegetables.
- Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
