Ingredients

- 1 pound ground lamb
- 1 cup bulgur wheat
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons ground allspice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup pine nuts, toasted
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Soak bulgur wheat in warm water for 30 minutes, then drain.
- In a bowl, combine ground lamb, soaked bulgur, onion, garlic, spices, salt, pepper, pine nuts, parsley, olive oil, and beaten egg.
- Mix well and form into patties.
- Place patties on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, let the mixture marinate for a few hours before shaping into patties.
- Serve with a side of yogurt sauce or salad.
