Description

Deliciously spiced baked lamb patties, perfect for a satisfying meal or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground lamb
  • 1 cup bulgur wheat
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts, toasted
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 egg, beaten


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Soak bulgur wheat in warm water for 30 minutes, then drain.
  3. In a bowl, combine ground lamb, soaked bulgur, onion, garlic, spices, salt, pepper, pine nuts, parsley, olive oil, and beaten egg.
  4. Mix well and form into patties.
  5. Place patties on a greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
  7. Serve warm.

  • For extra flavor, let the mixture marinate for a few hours before shaping into patties.
