Description

Delicious and savory crab cakes inspired by the flavors of the Eastern Shore.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, Old Bay seasoning, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix gently until well combined.
  3. Form mixture into patties.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook crab cakes for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

  • Serve with tartar sauce or remoulade for added flavor.
  • Can be baked in the oven for a healthier option.
