Instructions

  2. Rub the duck legs with salt, black pepper, garlic, and thyme.
  3. Place the duck legs in a Dutch oven and cover with duck fat.
  4. Cook in the oven for about 4 hours, or until the meat is tender.
  5. Remove the duck legs from the fat and allow to cool slightly before serving.
  6. Store any leftovers submerged in duck fat for preservation.
