Description

A quick and delicious shrimp scampi recipe that’s perfect for a weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 pound linguine
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, and stir to combine.
  6. Add the cooked linguine and toss well to coat.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve immediately.
