A quick and delicious shrimp scampi recipe that’s perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients

- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 pound linguine
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, and stir to combine.
- Add the cooked linguine and toss well to coat.
- Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately.

- Prepare the ingredients ahead of time for quick assembly.
