A savory and crispy pork shoulder recipe glazed with a rich mustard butter.

- 4 pounds pork shoulder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Rub the pork shoulder with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Place the pork in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Bake for 4 hours or until tender.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and mix with mustard, honey, vinegar, and thyme.
- After 4 hours, remove the foil and baste the pork with the mustard butter glaze.
- Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and roast for an additional 30 minutes until crispy.
- Let rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the pork shoulder overnight.
- Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
