A delicious recipe featuring crispy pork belly served with hard-boiled egg croutons.

- 1 pound pork belly
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Score the skin of the pork belly and rub with salt and five-spice powder.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, salt, and pepper.
- Place the pork belly in a baking dish and pour the marinade over it.
- Roast in the oven for 30-40 minutes until crispy.
- Meanwhile, bring a pot of water to a boil and gently add the eggs. Boil for 6-7 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
- Remove eggs, cool them in cold water, then peel and cut into crouton-sized pieces.
- Once the pork is done, let it rest, then slice and serve with egg croutons on top.
Notes
- For extra crispy skin, broil the pork belly for the last few minutes.
- Use homemade or store-bought pork belly, depending on availability.
