- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped lettuce
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup diced avocado
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add in taco seasoning and stir to combine.
- On a parchment-lined baking sheet, create 4 circles with shredded cheese, spaced apart, and bake for about 10 minutes or until crispy.
- Remove cheese from the oven and allow to cool slightly, then shape the cheese circles over a taco holder or a rolled towel to form taco shells.
- Fill each shell with the seasoned ground beef, then top with tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, and avocado.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add jalapeños or hot sauce.
- These cheese shells can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container.
