Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Rinse the chicken gizzards and place them in a bowl with buttermilk. Let them marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. In another bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Remove gizzards from buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off, then coat them in the flour mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry gizzards in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
