Description

Delicious crispy beef tongue tacos served in a unique carnivore shell.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef tongue
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 2 avocados, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes


Instructions

  1. Boil the beef tongue in salted water until tender, about 2-3 hours.
  2. Once cooled, peel the skin off the tongue and slice it thinly.
  3. In a frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Fry the tongue slices until crispy on both sides.
  5. Serve the crispy tongue slices with avocado, lettuce, and tomatoes in place of traditional taco shells.
