Description

A delicious and creamy dish featuring red snapper in a rich Creole sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 fillets red snapper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons Creole seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and bell pepper, sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in the garlic, cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add diced tomatoes and tomato paste, simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and Creole seasoning, then return to a simmer.
  6. Add the red snapper fillets, cooking until they are opaque.
  7. Season with salt and garnish with parsley before serving.
