Deliciously flaky biscuits filled with flavorful crawfish, perfect as an appetizer or a main dish.
Ingredients

- 1 pound crawfish tails
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix the crawfish, cheese, and green onions.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add milk and stir until just combined.
- Roll out the dough and cut into circles. Place a spoonful of the crawfish mixture on half of the circles, then top with the other half.
- Seal the edges and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- For an extra kick, add some hot sauce to the crawfish mixture.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
