Description

Deliciously tender short ribs coated in a sweet and spicy cranberry chipotle glaze.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pounds beef short ribs
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle in adobo sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Season the short ribs with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix cranberry sauce, chipotle, brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Place the short ribs in a baking dish and pour the glaze over them.
  5. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake for 3 hours, until tender.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more chipotle sauce.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes or rice for a complete meal.
