Description

A delicious dish that combines the sweetness of coconut with the savory flavor of bacon.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper.
  2. Dip each shrimp in the flour mixture, then in the egg, and finally coat with shredded coconut.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry shrimp until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Remove shrimp and sprinkle with crumbled bacon before serving.
