Description

Delicious clams paired with spicy chorizo and healthy kale, all baked in parchment for an easy yet gourmet meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh clams, cleaned
  • 8 ounces chorizo, sliced
  • 2 cups kale, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chorizo until browned.
  3. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for an additional minute.
  4. Add the kale and cook until wilted.
  5. Prepare parchment paper and place the clam mixture in the center.
  6. Top with lemon slices and parsley.
  7. Fold the parchment to create a sealed packet.
  8. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until clams open.
  9. Serve immediately.
