- 8 slices bacon
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese, optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the bacon on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until crispy.
- While the bacon is baking, grease a muffin tin.
- Once the bacon is done, remove it from the oven and carefully wrap each slice around the edges of the muffin tin cups, creating a ring.
- Crack an egg into each bacon ring and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the eggs are set.
- Optionally, sprinkle with cheese and return to the oven for another 2 minutes until melted.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
Notes
- Feel free to add herbs like parsley or chives for extra flavor.
