Description

A hearty and flavorful stew featuring chorizo and clams in a rich bone broth.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chorizo sausage
  • 2 cups clams, cleaned
  • 4 cups bone broth
  • 1 cup diced potatoes
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the chorizo over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add the onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the potatoes, carrots, celery, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Pour in the bone broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Add clams and cook until they open, about 5 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
